Kling 4.0: AI video with sound, lip-sync and 4K
Kuaishou's Kling 4.0 makes 3 to 30 second videos up to 4K, with stereo audio and lip-sync. It's not free, but it's one of the biggest AI video launches this year.
We mostly cover free and open-source tools, but some launches are big enough to talk about anyway. Kling 4.0 from Kuaishou became available to everyone on 15 October 2026.
Features
- Text-to-video clips from 3 to 30 seconds, in 720p, 1080p or 4K
- Stereo audio and lip-sync
- Up to 10 keyframes and 15 references (images, videos, voice)
- Editing tools for expressions, camera moves and backgrounds
Cost
Kling 4.0 is not free. Every generation uses credits, and 1080p and 4K need paid plans.
If you want a free, local alternative and have a strong NVIDIA GPU, look at Maestro.
